Air Ambulance called as man suffers facial injuries in Eastwood ‘stabbing’

Police are appealing for information after a man suffered facial injuries consistent with a stabbing in Eastwood

Police received a call from a member of the public at about 4.30pm on Monday (25 September) reporting that a man had approached them with facial injuries consistent with a stabbing on Hatherley Road in the Eastwood

The force spokespersons said “It is believed the victim, a man aged in his 30s, had received his injuries elsewhere before making his own way to Hatherley Road.”

The Yorkshire Air Ambulance deployed to the scene and landed nearby, but the individual was transported to hospital by road ambulance where he remains at this time receiving treatment.

“His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”

“Officers are carrying out enquiries to determine exactly what happened and where he received his injuries.”
