Police appeal for Witnesses to Mexborough collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a following a road traffic collision in Mexborough on Tuesday night (28 February) that left a man with serious injuries.

Just before 8pm, officers were called to a report of a collision on Wath Road, between a pedestrian and a blue BMW.

It is reported that the man had been assaulted prior to the collision. Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 34-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A police spokespersons said “anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who was driving in the area at the time is asked to get in touch. We are particularly keen to hear from those with dash-cam footage.”
