Clifton Park Bonfire Night returns for 2022

by Admin

After being cancelled for two consecutive years, Clifton Parks annual Bonfire Night display will return this year

In 2019 organisers cancelled the free admission Bonfire Night display in Clifton Park due to flooding.

This was followed by coronavirus restrictions leading to a further cancellation in 2021

It’s now been announced the display will take place this year on Saturday 5th November with attractions opening from 4pm followed by Bonfire Lighting at 6:45pm and Fireworks Display at 7:45pm

Rotherham Council have advised of limited parking at Clifton Park carparks at Clifton Lane and Doncaster Road, with the closest public car park being Drummond Street, a 5-minute walk back to the park.

There is street parking available on middle lane near to Clifton Community school.

“Parking services will be patrolling residential streets on the night so please park considerately on these roads as residents do require clear access on and off their properties at all times.”
