Police were called to Sheep Cote Road as 3 masked men broke into a property whilst the occupant slept
Police were called with reports of a burglary in progress at a property on Sheep Cote Road, Brecks, at around 9.10pm yesterday evening (Wednesday 28 September)”
A force spokesperson said “It is understood that a number of unknown suspects with their faces covered forced entry to the property while the occupant was asleep upstairs.”
The suspects are believed to have searched the property before the elderly resident woke up to men besides the bed, no one was injured
“Enquiries are ongoing.” added the spokesperson
