An 80-year-old woman has suffered serious head injuries in a collision in Kimberworth
Emergency services were called at 10.24am following reports of a road traffic collision on Old Wortley Road, Kimberworth.
On arrival it was discovered that a 80-year-old woman had been in collision with a car, she was taken to hospital with suspected serious injuries a police spokesperson confirmed.
The junction of Old Wortley Road and Wortley Road was closed for a number of hours to allow a police investigations to take place.
Enquiries are ongoing. Anyone who witnessed the incident should call 101 quoting incident number 229 of 22 November.
