Police are investigating a reported shooting in the Thrybergh area this morning
Officers were called to Rotherham District General Hospital at around 9.20am following reports a man in his 30s had been admitted with suspected gunshot injuries.
“He has since been transferred and is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries.”
The man is believed to have been injured in the Park Lane area of Thrybergh.
The road remains closed to allow for enquiries to take place.
An investigation is underway and anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident number 224 of 23 September 2020.
