Over 100 cannabis plants were discovered at a property in Tinsley after police received reports of a burglary
Police received a call at 3.46am on Tuesday (7 July) for reports of a burglary taking place at a property on Ferrars Road in Tinsley.
A police spokespersons said “The offenders had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival before locating a vehicle they believed to be used in the incident.”
“The driver failed to stop and a short pursuit commenced.”
“The car came to a stop and the offenders fled the scene. Traffic officers worked closely with a dog handler and the National Police Air Service to locate the suspects.
“A short while later, officers detained three men, a 26, 28 and 29 year old.”
“Officers attending the property in which reports for the burglary were made, located three rooms containing over 100 cannabis plants. Enquiries are on-going.”
