TWO men have been arrested following the recent shooting of two swans and four ducks in the Turner Wood area
This morning police arrested a male in relation to the recent shooting of two swans and four ducks in the Turner Wood area, a spokesperson confirmed.
This afternoon a second male was also brought in for questioning with Enquiries are currently ongoing, the spokesperson added
All four ducks and a female swan, who was nesting five eggs was killed.
The male swan is making a steady recovery.
The injured birds were discovered at Turnerwood near Thorpe Salvinย as she walked along the Chesterfield Canalย at 8.20am lastย Friday.
