Man taken to hospital as car overturns in Rawmarsh collision

A 45-year old man was rescued from a collision in Rawmarsh this morning

Police were called at around 9am this morning, 21st May to reports of a collision involving two cars on Haugh Road, Rawmarsh

It was reported that a white Ford Kuga collided with a black Renault Trafic SL27, a police spokesperson said

“The driver of the Ford, a 45-year-old man was trapped inside the car”

“South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue attended the scene and the man was taken to hospital by ambulance with his injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

“The driver of the Renault, a 49-year-old man, was uninjured.”
