A police helicopter was called in to assist in the search for a 17-year old who failed to stop for traffic cops
At around 9am on Sunday (19th April) It was reported that a Volkswagen Golf which was found to be speeding failed to stop for officers on Upwell Street in Burngreave area of Sheffield.
Officers engaged in a pursuit of the vehicle through the Attercliffe area of Sheffield into Tinsley, a police spokesperson said.
โThe car was found abandoned on Ferrars Road in Brinsworth. The driver had fled the scene.โ
โA short time later a 17 year old man was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.โ
โHe was later released under investigation pending further enquiries.โ
