A police investigation has been launched after two men impersonating NHS Staff entered a property on Cornwell Close, Rawmarsh
At 2:45pm, two men claiming to be NHS staff entered the address claiming to be clears who had come to clean the property on behalf of the NHS
While one of the men distracted the occupant, the other man went upstairs, a police spokesperson said.
“It is not yet confirmed if anything was taken” the spokesperson added.
“Scams of this nature will not be tolerated and we urge people to remain vigilant at this time”
“We would encourage anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen or heard anything suspicious to come forward.”
