The man, who stole a number of jars of coffee and a tin of paint was caught by cops earlier this week
Whilst Police were in the local area, they spotted the man heading towards them being chased by a security guard on Grosvenor Road, Eastwood.
The male was detained for shoplifting and given a £100 fine.
