Firecrews were called to an area of grass land between Canklow and Moorgate after the Millers game on Saturday (January 1st)
Two fire crews from Rotherham Station remained at the scene for around half an hour after receiving the call at 5.20pm.
A spokesperson from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue confirmed the fire was deliberate.
