Environment Agency called to assist with Catcliffe water levels

The Environment Agency have been called assist with Increasing Water Levels at Catcliffe this evening.

The increasing river levels currently stand at 29.9m as of 4:45pm.

The Environment Agency have advised that Flooding is expected at the River Rother at Treeton and immediate action required

“Areas most at risk are the Catcliffe Nature Reserve and surrounding areas.”

“Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours and we expect river levels to remain high until 09:00 on 08/11/19.”
