A 24-year-old woman has died following a collision in Thurcroft yesterday (14 October).
At around 2.15pm a black Vauxhall Vectra was travelling along Kingsforth Lane, Thurcroft, from Cumwell Lane before loosing control and being involved in a collision with a tree near to Kingsforth Lane Fisheries.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said “The driver of the Vectra, a 24-year-old woman, suffered fatal injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.”

Police enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the collision and any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting incident number 479 of 14 October 2019.
Police are especially keen to hear from motorists who may hold dash cam footage of the incident.
