A 12 year old boy was taken to hospital earlier this morning after being involved in a collision with a car in Kimberworth
Police said the boy, aged 12 was involved in a collision with a black Citroen C1 on Wortley Road, Kimberworth, just before 8.05am this morning (20th June)
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “The boy has been taken to hospital. His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.”
Wortley Road remains closed at the junction with Bradgate Lane to allow a collision investigation to take place.
