Police are appealing to a couple who may have witnessed a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle in the Ravenfield area earlier this month to come forward.
Just after 2.50pm on Sunday (5th May), a 29-year-old woman was walking along Moor Lane South towards Ravenfield after an altercation with a man.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said “the man is said to have then followed the victim in his car, a silver Skoda Fabia, driving in what has been described as a dangerous manner.”
“As the victim approached the concrete bridge on Moor Lane South, the suspect is said to have driven his car onto the kerb and collided with the 29-year-old.”
“The woman suffered minor injuries but did not require hospital treatment.”
It’s believed that a man and woman walking nearby saw what happened and are appealing for them to come forward.
