Police were called just before 2am on Wednesday (15th May) to reports that a vehicle had caused damage to the shutters of the premier store on Whitehill Road, Brinsworth.
A police spokeswoman said that “entry was gained, and the offenders attempted to cause damage to the ATM, but were unsuccessful.”
“They left the store heading towards the new community centre.”
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
