A police investigation has been launched after a woman’s body was discovered in Parkgate.
Police have launched an investigation after a woman body was discovered on land in Parkgate on Monday.
A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said that officers made the discovery of a woman’s body near to the Fitzwilliam Arms on Taylor’s Lane, close to School Lane at 1.50pm yesterday, Monday 8th April.
“Formal identification is yet to take place and therefore we are unable to confirm the identity of the deceased at this time.”
“Specialist officers are expected to remain in the area over the coming days as enquiries continue.”
