A police investigation has been launched after gunshots were fired at a house in Mexborough in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 23 April).
At around 4am, it was reported that damage had been caused to two windows of a house in Hirst Gate, Mexborough with the offenders leaving the area shortly after, a spokeswoman for South Yorkshire Police confirmed.
“No one was injured in the incident and officers are carrying out enquiries today to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.”
