Police are carrying out enquiries after a pizza delivery man was threatened at gunpoint before having his motorbike stolen in Ferham.
On Sunday evening (7th July) at 10.15pm it was reported that two men appeared from an alleyway on Meadow Street in Ferham and demanded that the driver hand over his motorbike, a police spokesperson said.
The spokesperson added “Both men were wearing balaclavas, one was wearing a green hooded top and in possession of a handgun.”
“The victim – uninjured in the incident – contacted police immediately.”
The motorbike has since been recovered from grassy area near to KFC in Canklow.
