Chocolate, batteries and razor blades stolen in Wilko burglary

Police were called to Corporation Street at 6am this morning (1st April) after a suspect used bricks to smash the front windows of the Wilko stealing chocolate, batteries and razor blades.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said “It is believed the offender gained entry by smashing a window and exited through the fire exit at the back of the store.”

“The suspect has taken chocolate, batteries and razor blades to the value of nearly £600.”

Enquiries are ongoing and anybody with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 401 of 1 April 2019.
