Man and Woman suffer serious injuries in Bramley collision

Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed a collision in Bramley which left a man (26) and a woman (41) with serious injuries last week.

At around 5.30pm on Friday (25th January) it was reported that a red and black Ford Fiesta and a blue Honda Civic were involved in a collision on Sandy Lane, Bramley, near to the entrance of Sandy Lane Farm.

The Fiesta is believed to have been travelling from Bramley towards Thurcroft, with the Civic travelling in the opposite direction.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said “a 26-year-old man driving the Fiesta and a 41-year-old woman driving the Civic were both taken to hospital with serious injuries. Both remain in hospital in a stable condition.’

“A passenger in the Civic, an eight-year-old girl, suffered minor injuries.”

Police are asking anyone who was in the Sandy Lane area or witnessed the collision to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 638 of January 25.
