A police investigation has been launched this evening (13th February) following the death of a woman in Thurcroft.
Emergency services were called to a property on Cedric Crescent, Thurcroft Just before 8.50pm after reports of an altercation.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said “A woman believed to be in her 20s was found to be in cardiac arrest. She was treated by medical staff at the scene but was pronounced dead shortly after.”
“Police remain in the area and a cordon is currently in place as officers carry out enquiries and work to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the woman’s death.”
A 39-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to her death and is currently in police custody.
