A police investigation has been launched this evening (13th February) following the death of a woman in Thurcroft.
Emergency services were called to a property on Cedric Crescent, Thurcroft Just before 8.50pm afterย reports of an altercation.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said โA woman believed to be in her 20s was found to be in cardiac arrest. She was treated by medical staff at the scene but was pronounced dead shortly after.โ
โPolice remain in the area and a cordon is currently in place as officers carry out enquiries and work to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the womanโs death.โ
A 39-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to her death and is currently in police custody.ย
