Man and woman injured in Wath-Upon-Dearne collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a car collided with two pedestrians on Quarry Hill Road in Wath-Upon-Dearne last Friday (28th December).

At around 11pm on Friday (28 December) a black VW Jetta was travelling along Quarry Hill Road when it hit a stationary Ford Focus C-Max.

The VW then hit a man (24) and a woman (21), both suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. 

“It was reported that the car then made off from the scene. A 27-year-old man has since been questioned and enquiries are ongoing.”

Police want to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or who saw the vehicle prior to the collision occurring.
