A MAN was arrested in Tinsley this morning after failing to stop for police road traffic units
At around 00.20hrs on Sunday (16th December) 2018 an officer from the Roads Policing Group attempted to stop a VW Jetta travelling at speed on Sheffield Road, Rotherham.
The VW Jetta failed to stop and was pursued around the Tinsley area before traveling through Brinsworth.
A Spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police RPG said: “A number of tactical police resources were involved in the pursuit. After approximately 10 minutes, the VW Jetta collided with a parked car.
The 38 year old male driver was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop for police, dangerous driving and criminal damage after a short foot chase.
