Police appeal following robbery of delivery driver in Clifton

Police have released CCTV images of two men they would like to identify as part of an ongoing investigation into the reported robbery of a delivery driver in Clifton.

At around 6.05am on Saturday 3 November, it was reported that a delivery driver pulled up outside the One Stop shop on Badsley Moor Lane, Rotherham.

As the man was unloading his lorry, two men wearing masks are understood to have approached and threatened the driver. One of the men is believed to have been carrying some sort of metal pole.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson added “The suspects are then reported to have left the scene in a vehicle, possibly a small four-wheel drive type vehicle, with a quantity of cigarettes.”

The delivery driver was not injured during the incident.
