Police are appealing for witnesses afterย four men armed with crowbars and a knife threatened staff in theย Sainsburyโs store.
On Monday (26ย November) police received a report of an incident at the Sainsburyโs store on Flanderwell Lane.
Around 10pm It was reported that four men armed with crowbars and a knife are believe entered the store with one of the men threatening staff with a crowbar to open the safe and give him cash.
Three of the men remained on the shop floor where they forced open two tills.
The suspects fled the scene with a substantial amount of cash.
Police are asking anyone who has any information or if anyone witnessed the incident, to please call 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 888 of 26 November 2018.
