Fire crews practice response to major chemical incident at Elescar

Fire crews from throughout South Yorkshire practiced their reaction to a major chemical incident this morning

A number of fire crews attended Elsecar Heritage Centre this morning to test the response to a chemical emergency.

Elsecar Heritage Centre posted a message on its Facebook page advising that “there will be a large presence of emergency vehicles from South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue; a specialised training exercise”
