Loud noise heard throughout Rotherham

If you heard a LOUD noise over Rotherham last night (Thursday 4th October) don’t panic!

We received a number of messages on our Facebook Page asking what was going on.

The noise was actually a FOUR Engined Ilyushin cargo plane at 9,000 feet. The aircraft was leaving Doncaster on the way to Indonesia with thousands of shelter kits for those effected by the recent earthquake and tsunami.
