Cops took to the streets of Wickersley on Friday as part of Operation Sceptre, an initiative to raise awareness and tackle knife crime.
Police deployed a knife arch outside the Masons on Bawtry Road where members of the public were asked to walk through the arch.
Police said over 300 people was scanned on the night and no knives were found.
