Police engage in Traffic Pursuit through Rotherham
Police this morning (18th July) were involved in a pursuit of a Silver Mercedes.
The Car was brought to a forced stop by a Traffic cops on Cranworth Road in Eastwood around 12:30am.
The chase is believed to have headed through areas of Rotherham, via Parkgate before being brought to a stop in Eastwood.
One member of the public described how the events unfolded “I Heard the screeching and then all of Police cars came following after it.””One of the men got dragged out and other one tried to bail but clearly didn’t get far enough”whilst another member of the public said they had to stop for a police tactical stinger nearby : “we had to pull over they had stinger on road near Home flair just before bridge”
It’s believed that one of the Police cars involved in the pursuit was involved in a collision after the Police car forced the stop of the Mercedes.
