A Low Flying Helicopter is inspecting Pylons and overhead Power Lines in Rotherham this Morning
National Grid are currently flying a helicopter round the Rotherham area inspecting overhead power lines.
The helicopter has a workstation in the rear for workers and a high definition camera to allow filming the condition of the pylons, wires and insulators as well as optional thermal imaging cameras.
