FIVE Fire appliances from Rotherham, Parkway, Dearne and Barnsley are in attendance at a furniture warehouse fire on Rawmarsh Road in Parkgate with a turntable ladder is also in attendance.
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson has said “Crews were called to the scene at around 2:00pm this afternoon (Friday 20 July)”
There are no reports of any casualties.
Fire Crews are advising local residents to close any windows and doors during the fire due to smoke in the area
Crews are expected to remain at the scene for the next few hours.
