A MAN has been admitted hospital after being stabbed on an Eastwood street yesterday evening (Wednesday).
A Police Spokesman said “Police were called to Cranworth Road at 7.40pm to reports of a man with a neck wound, The victim was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries, a man had been detained in connection with the incident”
Officers closed Cranworth Road and Sumner Road while forensic work was carried out.
One Bystander said that “There was atleast 6 Police Cars, then Police began taking pictures and covering up parts of the Pavement with black bags until the Crime Scene Investigator arrived around 9pm”
